About Holger Brandt
Holger Brandt studied Design in Hildesheim and Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he was a master student of Prof. K. F. Dahmen. He has taught design, curated exhibitions, and presented his work across Germany and Austria. Extended stays in countries such as Ibiza, Munich, Marbella, and Paris have deeply influenced his artistic vision. Today, he lives in Berlin.
In his paintings, Brandt places people, urban diversity, and personal stories at the forefront. His large-scale, vividly colored works blend humor, keen observation, and contemplative reflection. He captures the subtle quirks and vulnerabilities of human nature with warmth, honesty, and immediacy.
Music plays an equally important role in his creative life. As a drummer, he has collaborated with numerous artists, experiences that enrich his artistic practice and inform his sense of rhythm, movement, and expressive nuance.
